Why Attend East Ohio College?
Attending an institution like EOC provides students with numerous advantages, including completing their education at an accelerated pace, attending school within their community, receiving hands-on training, and getting comprehensive support throughout their education.
East Ohio College offers a range of accelerated degree programs in nursing, allied healthcare, and professional services. These programs are designed to be completed in two years or less, allowing students to complete their education and be prepared for new careers in less time than a traditional school. An accelerated degree program can save students valuable time and money by quickly training them for their new careers.
Another aspect of EOC that many students benefit from is its connection with the East Liverpool, Ohio, community. Attending a smaller school close to home can save students time and money by eliminating the daily commute or housing fees and allowing them to be closer to their support systems.
An additional benefit of East Ohio College is the hands-on training each student receives in their chosen field. Each accelerated degree program at EOC is designed with hands-on labs, custom simulations, and clinical rotations or an externship experience woven into the curriculum. This provides students multiple opportunities to practice their skills before entering the workforce.
Finally, EOC students also benefit from student support services throughout their education via our career management department. These services can include academic support like tutoring and academic advising, professional support services such as creating goals and job placement, and personal support including budgeting and time management.
